The documentary heritage of Hristo Botev in the Bulgarian historical archive of the National Library “St. St. Cyril and Methodius”

Summary/Abstract: The documentary heritage of Hristo Botev represents a valuable source both for his individual life path and for the era of the Bulgarian Renaissance. To date, about 120 documents written by Hristo Botev or addressed to him are known, as well as those in which he took part. In order to facilitate the work with them and to reveal their content, an attempt was made to compile a comprehensive inventory with a classification scheme of the documents in the Bulgarian historical archive of the National Library “St. St. Cyril and Methodius”.
