Summary/Abstract: The task of every teacher of technical culture is to ensure that students acquire technical knowledge, skills and abilities that they can apply in everyday life. Given the dynamic development of technology, this often requires adapting teaching content and teaching methods to the interests and needs of the students. This paper explores unconventional ways of implementing hands-on activities in the technical culture classroom and presents four concrete examples of designing and implementing hands-on activities in practice. The research results show that students are highly motivated for practical activities in the subject of the Technical Culture and that practical activities have a positive influence on the achievement of learning outcomes in the subject of the Technical Culture.
