A SONIC CHARACTERIZATION OF THE CHARACTERS IN THE MUSICAL ADIO CHIUSTENGE! BY DUMITRU LUPU

Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on a significant aspect of Romania's musical-theatrical history, namely the musical „Adio Chiustenge!”, composed in 2016 by Dumitru Lupu, a composer from Dobrogea. The purpose of this article is that, for the first time in Romanian musicology, a thorough analysis is provided of the musical-theatrical creation „Adio Chiustenge!”, by D. Lupu, highlighting the stylistic and genre techniques used by the composer, and studying the architectural aspects of all instrumental numbers in this creation.
