Summary/Abstract: The article explores the life and legacy of Marie Cibulková, a politically active and socially engaged woman born in 1888 in Prague. She was a member of the Sokol gymnastic association and later joined the Czechoslovak National Socialist Party, where she held various positions. During World War II, Cibulková became involved in the resistance movement against the Nazi occupation, supporting underground activities and aiding fellow resistance members. Her efforts included providing shelter and resources to those in hiding. Despite her significant contributions, her name is scarcely mentioned in surviving testimonies and Gestapo interrogation records. Cibulková was eventually arrested and executed in Dresden in 1944. The article is based on family memories, historical documents, and the author's research, shedding light on Cibulková's bravery and dedication to her country.
