THE IMPACT OF THE ADHESION TO THE EU ON ROMANIAN AGRICULTURE

Summary/Abstract: The Romanian agriculture is an important branch of the economy, being supported by the percentage of the occupied population within the agricultural field and also by its contribution to the development of the gross domestic product. The agriculture has proved to be the most difficult chapter in the negotiation process for the adhesion to the EU, due to the complexity of the goals and objectives to be achieved. Agricultural reforms must consider the professional training of agricultural producers and particularly the act of drawing young people towards the rural environment.
