Corruption of voters

Summary/Abstract: In the content of the paper, I examined the crime of corruption of voters, taking into account especially its objective side, the way in which the actions by which its material element is carried out were interpreted in doctrine and jurisprudence. I also insisted on presenting the consistency of the Romanian legislator to criminalize this act starting with the first Criminal Code adopted in the modern era of Romania. Last but not least, I also insisted on the brief examination of the first incriminations and the assessment of the nature of this offense by the doctrine and jurisprudence of the time. The examination can be useful both to students of specialized faculties in the country and to practitioners in this field.
