Summary/Abstract: In the poetic work "Les larmes de la mer" of Kissy Cédric Marshall, the terrorist attack that the historic town of Grand-Bassam experienced on March 13, 2016, is felt and experienced as an imperfection of life that sprouts figures of terror. Terror, as an imperfect form of life, is built up from the categories of presence/absence of an actant-body whose proprioceptive mediation makes it possible to construct the significance of the above-mentioned work. This significance can be read by means of the distributive unpredictability of the somatic modalities and then of those relating to the discursive, temporal and axiological tensions which lead to irregularities in the discourse.
