Summary/Abstract: “Les larmes de la mer” is a poetic work that denounces terrorist attacks perpetrated in various states. In the poetic process of denouncing this harsh reality, which remains a sad actuality in many regions of the world, Cédric Marshall Kissy resorts to figures of metaphor and symbol of the object. Both of them operate, at the tropic level, through relationships based on analogies or analogical substitutions established between realities belonging to distinct domains. However, while one runs out within the confines of textual limits, the other goes far beyond. They each possess specific properties that should be highlighted in order to uncover their respective functioning in the process of poeticizing terrorism in this verbal creation.
