CERTAIN CONSIDERATIONS CONCERNING THE HISTORICAL EVOLUTION OF THE EUROPEAN UNION IN THE LIGHT OF THE TREATIES

Summary/Abstract: The „economical and political” Europe was profile after the Second World War and count now 27 states of Europe continent. The essential document of actual Europe is the Constitution. But starting with 1951 they are four founding treaties, four amending treaties and six accession treaties. The policies of European Union are divided into three main areas, called pillars, by Maastricht’s Treaty: Community pillar for economic, social and environmental policies, Common Foreign and Security Policy pillar for foreign policy and military matters and Police and Judicial Cooperation in Criminal Matters pillar concerning cooperation in the fight against crime.
