Investments in the city in the context of the needs of citizens (on the example of Sanok)

Summary/Abstract: Urban investments play a pivotal role in shaping the quality of life of residents and in thesocial development of the city. These investment projects have the potential to transformthe structure of urban space, which influences socio­ ‑economic progress. It is crucial to aligninvestments with the actual needs of the population. For this reason, the decision­ ‑makingand investment planning process must include the active participation of residents. Thisstudy analyzes the ongoing investments in Sanok in the context of the needs of residents,resulting from a survey. Furthermore, recommendations are made to the local governmentand potential locations for future investments are identified.
