Mineral waters of Uherské Hradiště district (Czech Republic) and their use

Summary/Abstract: Nowadays, there is an increasing interest in natural medicinal materials, which is related to, among others, with ongoing changes in the natural environment, its pollution and civilization changes negatively affecting human health. Water has played a special role in this respect since the dawn of time. The aim of the article is to determine the occurrence and use of mineral waters in the Uherské Hradiště district, as a representative area for the entire Carpathian region of the Czech Republic. 8 locations of mineral water sources were analyzed, taking into account their nature, history of use and current state of use.
