Summary/Abstract: In this paper, we aim to present the amendments to the electoral legislation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic by reference to the experience of other countries and Romania. Following the analysis, I shall indicate whether the postponement of the election or its organization under restrictive conditions complies with the criteria of the rule of law.
