A Good Practice for Modern Scientific Collaboration

Summary/Abstract: This paper presents a good practice for modern scientific collaboration: the foundation of the Bulgarian Association of Scientific Historical Journals in November 2022 with the participation of eight Bulgarian scientific journals in the field of history, indexed in Scopus and/or Web of Science. These journals are presented in the paper. The objectives of the association, aimed at boosting scientific ethics and at better editorial activity of the editorial boards, are also outlined. The humanities have their specificities, different from those of the natural sciences, mathematics or medicine, which necessitates not competition, but cooperation between scientific journals in this field, published in a country or region.
