Summary/Abstract: Modern times bring with them new emerging forms of violence, which due to their complexity require a more complex study methodology. The ways of expressing peer violence are also more diverse, from threats, blackmail, physical confrontations, and recently, more and more often, the use of modern devices for the purpose of violence (fake profiles, disposable mobile cards, videos, etc.).The goal of the work is to use a specially conceived and designed program, based on the experience gained from many years of work in high school, to introduce new forms of peer violence to students, and to influence students in terms of changing the habits, prejudices and way of thinking of the individuals included in this research. The author of the paper conducted an experimental action research on the prevention of peer violence on a sample of 334 high school students. The elements of the experiment can be seen in the formation and uniformity of the control (K) and experimental (E)groups, initial and final measurement, population and research sample, statistical data processing, and methods and techniques applied during the research. An attempt was made to quantitatively analyze the effects of pedagogical prevention of peer violence in school. The initial measurement recorded the situation of peer violence in high school, and then the focus of interest was directed to those aspects of the research that relate to the application of action research by phases. By comparing the initial and final measurements, results were obtained that can serve as an illustration of the scope and possibilities of action research in the prevention of peer violence, and the introduction of innovations in pedagogical practice.
