The compulsory administrative measure "Ban on attending sporting events in the country and abroad" under the law on the protection of public order during the holding of sports events

Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the general characteristics and legal regulation of the compulsory administrative measure "Prohibition to attend sports events in the country and abroad", which is regulated in the Law on Protection of Public Order at Sports Events. A legal analysis of the nature of the coercive measure and the grounds for its imposition is made. The competent authorities and the statutory form with which it is imposed are indicated, depending on the different hypotheses mentioned in the law. The obligations of the addressee relating to the execution of the measure and the legal guarantees for its observance are addressed. The importance of the general and individual prevention of sports hooliganism is also positively highlighted.
