Summary/Abstract: The concept of freedom hinges on the interplay between personal choice and the consequences of the action taken. The philosopher then ponders what exactly shapes this behavior and how it relates to both universal values and the evolving human understanding. One constant for the philosopher is their own experience of thinking, which grapples with existing realities. This is why Arvydas Šliogeris' philosophical experience is considered existential - it involves recognizing the various metaphysical and ontological structures that make up both humans and the world. The concept of ontological freedom, however, does not advocate for imposing one's will on nature or humanity. Instead, it emphasizes the importance of caring for the environment with love, finding a balance between the needs of different entities, and accepting the reality of death.
