Summary/Abstract: The issue of social inequality enjoys unflagging interest among researchers both from Poland and around the world, which is not surprising from the perspective of the turbulent environment in which people who create societies live. Recent years, marked by difficult and currently unknown events, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, war just across the border of the European Union, economic, migration and humanitarian crises, natural and ecological disasters, have contributed to an increase in the number of scientific publications on broadly related topics that recognised inequalities: economic, educational, environmental, technological or political, as well as unequal treatment due to: gender, age, origin, professed worldview, participation in a specific culture or professed faith. This article, using the resources of search engines dedicated to scientific publications (Google Scholar and Scopus), is devoted to the analysis of the occurrence and bibliometric identification of foreign dissertations such as literature reviews and research in the field of social inequalities. It presents, in a numerical dimension, the interest of researchers from outside Poland in complementary issues, and characterises the above-mentioned topics, which included phrases complementing the concept of inequality: economic, social, racial, cultural, educational, income, gender-based, ecological (environmental), technological. Studies published in the years 2018–2023 (as of September 15, 2023) were subject to research verification, which makes the presented article up-to-date and, due to its non-standard formula, an interesting and innovative review of the literature and research in fields important for modern societies.
