Summary/Abstract: Logistics support in NATO Crises Response Operations is grounded on the logistic potential of the participating nations, as well as on the balance between the collective responsibility and the national one. From this point of view, the implementation of multinational solutions could generate a better allocation of resources, and an increased efficiency in operational logistics. The participation of civilian contractors has become a necessity and a responsibility, regardless of the area in which the mission may take place.
