Summary/Abstract: Taking place as part of the events celebrating the Day of the Romanian Armed Forces General Staff (12 November), the 12th edition of the Gândirea militar` româneasc` Awards was, just as in the previous years, one of the fundamental moments in the history of this publication, through which the intellectual activity in the field of military theory and science of over 50 authors was recognised and rewarded. At the opening of the ceremony, the chairman of the Journal Awards Selection, Evaluation and Nomination Commission, Major General Dr Virgil B`l`ceanu, reviewed the work of the Commission, pointing out the importance of the 46 works selected.
