Summary/Abstract: The topic has priority from the system of knowledge, skills and habits to the productive building of personal qualities, such as responsibility, initiative, independence, reflexivity. The direction is towards students' thinking expressed in logic, abstraction and the searching for cause-and-effect relationships, as well as criticality and handling the definition of learning strategies and techniques. A new dynamic equilibrium is sought in the social and educational environment. The basis of the perception of the world is the understanding of searching and finding, thinking and getting to know, training and doing. The main factors are the incitement and the analysis. Knowledge should not be an end in itself and the role of the teacher must be rethought. The school environment should be an environment for optimal development of students' personal potential.
