Summary/Abstract: History must be protected from loss of detail. From raw documentation and serious reports, it is hard to extract a picture of great events as they were actually experienced by the witnesses. Their emotions, joys and pains, and unique perspectives on the past are lost over time. In the case of remote history, this problem cannot be solved. With events that fall within the human memory of one generation, it is different. Facts and opinions that can be saved from oblivion should be protected and saved at all costs. This was Michal Lewandowski's goal when he decided to conduct an extensive interview with Teresa Romer.
