Summary/Abstract: From the end of the 19th century and throughout the 20th century, the changes in art education in Bulgaria were in sync with the development of fine art on a national and global scale. On the basis of Bulgarian traditions in fine art education, many good educational practices have been developed over the years. In this way, the foundations have been laid for a successful implementation of innovative approaches of pedagogical interaction in modern higher art education. The positive and constructive aspects of methods already proven in practice, developed as a result of many years of pedagogical experience, attract the significant and valuable methods, resources and ways to achieve specific educational goals. They become a unique base for the application of innovative ideas for the creation and development of students' professional opportunities.
