Summary/Abstract: Recent studies indicate that public trust is no longer part of banks' con- cernational advantage over companies using innovation in the process of providing financial services. Moreover, customers trust FinTech companies more than banks.In this context, the determinants of consumer decisions should be analyzed, in particular psychological determinants. They are of an individualized nature in terms of each choice made by the customer, and in view of the observed comparable level of customer trust in FinTech entities and banks, may indicate significant differences in the perception of the relevance of this category for customers of the banking sector, among whom there are people who have not yet used the offer of the FinTech sector, as well as those who are customers of both groups of institutions. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the importance of psychological determinants for assessing the attractiveness of FinTech sector offerings among individual customers of the banking sector and the banking and FinTech sectors. The article verifies the following research hypothesis: the average level of importance of determinants of psychological nature for assessing the attractiveness of FinTech sector offerings is not statistically significantly different for in- dividual customers of the banking and FinTech sectors.
