Summary/Abstract: The article aims to outline the image of Nazi celebrations in German-occupied Toruń. The source basis for the analysis was materials from the daily Thorner Freiheit, published in the city from September 20, 1939 to January 30, 1945. It is a valuable source of information about the occupation reality because it contains numerous details that create a picture of everyday life which cannot be found in any official documentation. In the analysis of Nazi celebrations in Toruń, only holidays referring to anniversaries/historical events were included: Seizure of Power Day (Tag der Machtergreifung), a.k.a. National Uprising Day (Tag der nationalen Erhebung), celebrated on January 30; the anniversary of the creation of the NSDAP (Parteigründungsfeier) – February 24; Heroes’ Memorial Day (Heldengedenktag); Hitler’s birthday (Führergeburtstag) – April 20; National Labor Day (Tag der nationalen Arbeit) on May 1; Memorial Day for the Martyrs of the (Nazi) Movement (Gedenktag für die Gefallenen der Bewegung), celebrated on November 9
