The Physical Education of the Candidate Students for the Majority of POFV at Konstantin Preslavski University of Shumen

Summary/Abstract: Physical education is of indisputable importance to education. It appears as the only means to ensure a certain level of physical, mental and functional development of the human organism. In addition, through it competences are acquired, including knowledge, motor skills, motor habits and moral values are built. During the studies in the university, students receive and upgrade a certain level of development of psychophysical qualities in accordance with the needs of the chosen specialty. This strengthens their motivation for personal expression and achieving high results. The purpose of the present study is to reveal the degree of physical education of candidate students for the specialty Pedagogy of teaching physical education at the University of Shumen.
