My old-school women of power. A response to the review Margaret Delimata-Proch

Summary/Abstract: By chance, I recently read a review of my book “Old Polish womenof power in the historiography of the Polish partition era” written by Malgorzata Delima-ta-Proch. Both the form of the review, reminiscent of a critical dissertation, and bearing thethe form of the review, reminiscent of a critical dissertation, and bearing the hallmarks of a lampoon, as well as the accusations it contains, prompted me to respond.Although most of the accusations, contrary to the reviewer's intentions, do not have much forceblatant, especially for experts on the subject, the author's involvement, her “irritation”are so great that they seem to directly encourage polemics.
