Summary/Abstract: The article is an edition and analysis of the text of the foundation act of the instrumental ensemble at the Corpus Christi Church in Krakow. The foundation was established in 1675 by a canon regular – Rev. Jan Brodowski. He instructed the 6,000 Polish florins he received as an inheritance to invest in landed estates, and the expected annual income of 420 florins was to provide fees for four instrumentalists. These musicians were required to attend Mass on certain days of the year. The foundation bequest regulates their duties in detail.
