Summary/Abstract: Any period or event in a person's life can be seen as particularly challenging or, for various reasons, decisive; we have all been experiencing challenging circumstances for some time in our lives. The relationship of such challenging circumstances to information science has already been partially described in the literature. Still, we encounter different situations and/or circumstances every day, which encourages us to further study and document information behavior in a variety of specific, concrete contexts
