Summary/Abstract: In this study, the Turkish aviation sector is analyzed using data from 2002 to 2022. The aim of the study is to show the extent of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Turkish aviation sector. For the study, the CRITIC and PROMETHEE models were used, which belong to the multicriteria decision-making methods. The CRITIC method determines the weighting of the criteria for the alternatives. The PROMETHE method is used to rank the alternatives according to the criteria. TUIK data is used in the study, and the research dataset includes 8 criteria for the Turkish aviation sector. These criteria are the number of aircraft, seat capacity, domestic cargo, international cargo, domestic air traffic, international air traffic, number of domestic passengers, and number of international passengers. The analysis conducted based on these criteria shows that the Turkish aviation sector was negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The analysis showed that the performance of 2020 was worse than that of 2012. The performance of 2021 is lower than that of 2015. The performance of 2022 is worse than that of 2019. Accordingly, the Turkish aviation industry was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic but has achieved better results every year after 2020.
