Summary/Abstract: In the health system, which consists of a complex structure, patients, physicians and all other health professionals have close relationships with each other. If this relationship is maintained in a healthy way, physician loyalty will increase. Otherwise, communication problems and health care system distrust will arise. The aim of this study is to determine the mediating role of physician loyalty in the relationship between health communication problems and health care system distrust. In this context, the survey method, one of the data collection techniques, was used. The questionnaires were applied to a total of 629 people over the age of 18 in Turkey. In the study, it was determined that health communication problems negatively affect physician loyalty. In addition, it was concluded that there was a positive relationship between health communication problems and health care system distrust. Finally, it was seen that the mediating role of physician loyalty is significant in the relationship between health communication problems and health care system distrust.
