Summary/Abstract: The EU agenda is shaped by current challenges such as climate change, digitalisation, disinformation, migration, and asylum policy, along with new EU enlargement perspectives and global conflicts like the war in Ukraine. The recent European Parliament elections have introduced fresh ideas and energy, influencing the EU's priorities and programs. The Eleventh International Conference of the European Studies Department at Sofia University focused on these issues, discussing the EU's achievements, perspectives, and strategic reforms. The conference, held annually, gathers academics and experts to debate key challenges and opportunities facing Europe. This year's panels covered topics like the future of the Eurozone, European economic security, EU enlargement, and media policy in a shifting information environment.
