Ex Ponto – Three Vesna Parun’s Travelogue Postcards

Summary/Abstract: In the work “Ex Ponto – three travel postcards of Vesna Parun”, three travelogue postcards of Vesna Parun are interpreted in which she discusses her stay in Bulgaria. These are the travelogues „More bez sunčevih zalazaka”, „Djevojčica i vjetar” and „Probuđeni bakrorez” published in the book of selected Works of Vesna Parun „Nedovršeni mozaik” in 1990. In the paper, these travelogues are defined as travel postcards (Duda, 1996) and the dominant thematic-motive sequence as well as the stylistic procedures of each travelogue are interpreted separately. The travelogues are also contextualized in Parun’s prose discourse with regard to their mosaic composition and lyrical-reflexive determinants.
