Global trend in food waste

Summary/Abstract: The paper carries out a research on the prevention and combating of food waste. The theme of this paper is entitled " Global trend in food waste ", and the objectives are to identify the optimal solutions for reducing food waste worldwide. According to the statistical data analyzed, we noticed that the United States of America has the largest share because the purchasing power is high,the population is irresponsible by overexploiting the resources. One solution to reduce waste would be to donate food that is nearing its expiration date, and to prevent it, educate consumers.
