Summary/Abstract: In a world that grows increasingly interconnected by the day, the ability to communicate across linguistic and cultural boundaries has become more critical than ever. Language training stands at the forefront of this endeavour, serving as the gateway to fostering understanding, collaboration, and empathy in our global community. As an academic in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Barcelona, Spain, I have witnessed first-hand the transformative power of language training in breaking down barriers and building bridges between individuals and societies.
