Summary/Abstract: Ion Pop's critical readings follow the path of the dialogue with the work, in a dialectic of identification and distance: personalized "calligraphy", as a form of a critical exercise's escape from the tutelage of excessive rationalization, is illustrated in both sections of the book: studies dedicated to a writer, a favorite topos or a literary orientation. The abyss of the perspectives of metaphysical temporality, or of the agonic timbre, gives Ion Pop's poems a game of multiple perspectives, with voices that interweave, with mediations that refuse to mediate, an ambiguous game of time and of coming out of time, in which beauty is salvation and detachment, and the poem becomes a 'reportage' of the continuous dispute between the seen and the unseen.
