Summary/Abstract: The implementation of the rules of the Bologna Convention art faculties in Serbia has brought numerous changes: those aimed at the implementation of new elective subjects are considered positive, and are dedicated to gaining knowledge from so-called new technologies, media, soft skills, marketing and the like. During the last decade, attitudes were formed that in the contemporary world a professional musician should take his career into his “own” hands by learning “a little bit about everything”, in order to “get by” in the world. The research that was conducted for this paper at the Academy of Arts Novi Sad presents what the students think about them.
