Summary/Abstract: The paper discusses the Strategy for the Development of Education in the Republic of Serbia until 2030, in comparison with international strategies. The goal is to examine the compliance of proposed changes in education in the Republic of Serbia with European goals. It starts from the fact that it is necessary to harmonize changes in education in the Republic of Serbia with those in the world. By analyzing the strategies of the Agenda for Sustainable Development 2030, Towards a Sustainable Europe 2030, The Future of Education and Skills -Education 2030, The Strategy for the Development of Education and Education in the Republic of Serbia until 2030 and several others, the basic factors that can influence the improvement of the quality of education are indicated . As stated in them, the goal of these strategies is to reduce inequality and poverty, as well as to reduce the differences that exist in society and education. The importance of the role of innovative technologies in the creation of modern social processes and movements of modern society is also pointed out.
