Summary/Abstract: The recent scientific seminar titled "Research and Educational Aspects of Text Comprehension" was held on September 26-27, 2023, by the Department of Communication and Literary Education at the University of Prešov. The seminar, part of the VEGA 1/0061/21 project, aimed to enhance understanding of text comprehension processes among third-grade students through empirical research. It featured a diverse range of participants from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Poland, and included notable contributions from international experts. Discussions covered various aspects of text comprehension, including narrative skills, syntactic and phonological aspects, and innovative educational methods. The event fostered both professional and personal connections among attendees.
