Summary/Abstract: In this article, I analyse selected excerpts from Stanisław Judycki’s Epistemologia [Epistemology] I treat this multi-layered book as an exposition of his philosophical system, which I call epistemological theism. In this system, the theistic thesis (justified by means of the neo-Cartesian ontological argument) is both a condition for rejecting scepticism and grounding human knowledge, as well as an explanatory and unifying factor for various cognitive phenomena. In the text, I attempt to critically reconstruct the structure, main methods and arguments, and selected spans of Judycki’s work. I pay special attention to the procedure for refuting scepticism, ontological proof and the theory of sensible qualities. Although I find some inaccuracies and gaps in the elaboration of each of these topics, I evaluate Judycki’s entire project as particularly inspiring and philosophically rich.
