Summary/Abstract: The article interprets Przemysław Dakowicz’s poetics as an attempt to diagrammatically reproduce the mechanisms of postmodern culture with particular emphasis on its connections with the economic base in the form of the so-called cognitive capitalism. The poet diagnoses contemporary times as “schizophrenic”, referring to "Capitalism and schizophrenia" by Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari. From the perspective of literary history, the poetry of great modernists also turns out to be an important inspiration for his work – from Ezra Pound and T.S. Eliot to Tadeusz Różewicz, as well as their reception by Jarosław Marek Rymkiewicz.
