Summary/Abstract: The author of the article analyses Adam Zdrodowski’s poetry collection entitled "Moon Machine" (2019), both in the context of his previous books and the output of Polish writers born in the same decade, the 1970s. The heteronyms portrayed in "Moon Machine" suggest that after a six-year break from writing, the poet sought new ways to produce self-reflexive texts by creating metaleptic loops and deconstructing the authorial figure rather than reproducing the same Oulipian constraints that were prevalent in his previous collections.
