Pragmatic Mechanical Organisms: On the Maturation of Kacper Bartczak’s Poetic Models

Summary/Abstract: The discussion about forms of poetic engagement concerned mainly poets born in the 1980s and 1990s, leaving aside the question of how poets born in the 1970s approached political dilemmas. Among them Kacper Bartczak’s project deserves our attention, for it outlines the horizon of relationship between the poetic form and the forms of externality. This article is an attempt to trace how Bartczak has arrived at the organic form characteristic of his works, which reflect in their syntax various tensions between the structure of language and external matter.
