Summary/Abstract: Abstract: In this work we present the realization of a lesson in which we analyzed the story "To Matins with Father for the first time" by Laza Lazarević, in a school library, a very convenient space for conducting academic research. The students would learn how to use certain handbooks od language and literary theory as a support for the analysis of literary work. Besides team spirit in group work this way of teaching realisation would activate the diverse range of students perception, starting from the direct immersion in expert literature (the student spontaneously applies method of selection, combination, deduction), over to verbal representation, exchange of information with one another, deduction and permanent obtaining of skills and knowledge, thanks to the students monologue method , all the way to the developing the ability of long-life learning. The concept goal of learning this way is obtaining the habit so that one day in their later education or out of pure curiosity, the students know for which handbook to reach out and how to use it, should any literature theoretical term or a unknown word be unfamiliar to them, which, of course they could apply in any other area of interest, that does not necessary needs to be related to philology.
