PROJECT APPROACH TO THE FAIRYTALE IN KINDERGARTEN AN EXAMPLE OF GETTING TO KNOW EVOLUTION OF A PRINCESS CHARACTER

Summary/Abstract: In our work we show possible flow of using project approach in pre-school group acording to new pre-school programs. This approach is about flexibility and positive practice. We used three literary texts: The small pepper as tipical example of folk fairytale, The girl outsmarted the emperor as a short folk story with fairytale elements, and Princess in a paper bag as anti-fairytale with elements different than classic folk fairytale. The goal is to show evolution of princess character in traditional and modern fairytale through research that shows different elements of communication, as process of formation, understanding and overcoming stereotypes.
