Summary/Abstract: In the current paper, the most essential moments in the regulatory framework of Japan, affecting and supporting the enforcement of the principles of the circular economy, are considered. The greening of the economic model of the economy, its relationship with human health and the modern needs and wants of our modern society are indicated. The Japanese regulatory framework supporting the imposition of cyclical patterns in the green economic model is presented. Encouraging, restrictive and restrictive legislative approaches are explored, including the applied fiscal instruments of impact. Policies to strengthen public-private partnerships in order to promote the circular economy among a wide range of stakeholders are examined. The researched normative instruments for enforcing the principles of the circular economy in Japan result in the possible applicable adaptive practices for introduction and upgrading in our country and Europe. The resulting analysis considers the well-structured and circular economy-oriented regulatory framework as a serious prerequisite for economic growth in business-oriented circular markets in Japan.
