Summary/Abstract: In consequence of industrialization and migrations, at the end of the 19th in Lower Silesia, new centers of Polish population emerged; among them, Wojcieszów and Zgorzelec were best documented in Polish press. The present paper describes the life and national attitudes of Poles who lived there.
