Summary/Abstract: The book “Cultural diplomacy as soft power. Case study: International Festival George Enescu”, which is the subject of this review, offers an interesting and contemporary approach to the relationship between culture and diplomacy, taking as an example a significant cultural event - the International Festival “George Enescu”. Thus, it has quickly become a standard work and rightly so, because such a well-founded synthesis work, in which culture and diplomacy intertwine, was missing. Of all types of diplomacy, cultural diplomacy is less well known among the general public because, in our chaotic times, more emphasis is placed on economics and politics, forgetting that at the basis of all our decisions and motivations lies our mentality and, implicitly, the culture of which we are a part.
