Summary/Abstract: The unknown history of the painting depicting St. Stanislaus Kostka, exhibited in the Jesuit Museum in Stara Wieś near Brzozów (the Museum is in turn owned by the Southern Poland Province of the Jesuit Order). This painting belonged to a group of pictures popularising the venerated image of the saint from the Jesuit novitiate Sant’Andrea al Quirinale in Rome, retaining the value of his authentic likeness.
