Summary/Abstract: In the following study that we submit to your attention, we propose to present the results of our research undertaken, both in archives and in various central and County libraries, to recover moments from the life of the senior officer of Romanian origin Dănilă Papp. Also, we aimed at putting this known information into the historiographical circuit by publishing the identified results. Thus, we will present, both for the informed reader and for the history lover, information regarding the collaboration that the man and military man Dănilă Papp had and maintained with various associations, meetings, societies, leagues, both for the period in which he served in the imperial army of Austria-Hungary, on the fronts in Galicia, Bucovina or in the northern part of Italy, as well as for the stage in which he was in the service of the Romanian state, as general commander of the division in Sibiu, of the army corps, in Craiova and Cluj, royal resident of the Mureș County with headquarters in Alba Iulia, Minister Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Romania accredited to the Vatican.We note that he had collaborations with the Society Lorbeer für unsere helden/Laurels for our heroes, both with its Viennese Section and the one in Bucovina, the Transylvanian Association, the Cultural League, the National Houses Central, the Initiative Committee for the construction of the Statue of Avram Iancu in Cluj, the Romanian Aviation Association of which he was a member of the central management committees. Member and president of the General Association of Reserve and Retired Officers, King Carol II, of the Royal Geographical Society of Romania, of the General Association of Romanian Engineers, last but not least, he worked as a member and then president of the Association General of the United Romanians with Church of Roma.He collaborated inter-institutionally with the Royal Cultural Foundations, with the Principele Mircea Cultural Society, the Alba al Astra County Central Division and the Regional Museum of the Union in Alba Iulia. Returned from the Vatican at the beginning of September 1943, he lived in Sibiu on University Street and constantly supported the II Central of the Romanian Red Cross Society for the area of military operations with significant sums, as can be seen from the thanks given to him addressed by Mrs. Marinela Osvadă Seulescu, the president of this company. Throughout his career he was awarded orders and medals, both by the imperial authorities of Germany and Austria-Hungary until 1918, and by the royal authorities of Great Romania after 1918.
