Summary/Abstract: The Kraków incidents of November 1923 arouse emotions up to this day. Quite decent literature has been developed on this subject, mainly before 1989, however, several contributory studies have been published over the last 30 years. The catalog of sources is also being expanded, which can be used to improve the current state of knowledge of the events from 100 years ago. The presented account, hitherto completely unknown, kept in private family collections, fi ts into the trend. Its author is Ludwik Kłeczek, commander of the State Police in Krakow during the events of November 1923. His critical assessment of the activities of the Krakow police forces resulted in his transfer to Volhynia, and ultimately to the Silesian Voivodeship. Therefore, it was not the end of his professional career.
